could well be ...... but that is the name on the birth registration, so Catherine Donna Thompson is the name that Terence will have to ask for. |

Cannot find possibly two marriages of George Thompson b1835, Lincolnshire. His first marriage? and only? child seems to be Catherine Dennis Thompson b 1862. (Named after her grandmother Catharine Dennis Green b1788). His second marriage to Elizabeth Ann Douglas produced Elizabeth Ann in 1868?, Lily D in 1872? Martha Ann in 1876? Refered to by the family as "half sisters" to the later Beatrice Douglas b 1882? (In the 1851 census Elizabeth Ann Douglas seems to be the daughter of Andrew Ennis Douglas, born Scotland in 1787, and served on Nelson's ship during the Battle of Trafalgar in 1804, later becoming a surgeon from 1812). |
