Laysley could be Tarpley, which could be an enumerator not understanding Tarporley in a different dialect? |

The death certificate will not say automatically who the husband was. It will have an informant, who might be the husband. |

Can anyone help? I have a John Edwin Ball born 1839/40 in Tarvin. I have downloaded the entry from the 1851 census which on the individual record shows him living in oscroft cheshire. However the household census I downloaded just shows numbers of individual records and no names. I am trying to establish who he was living with. |

Could you just post the information about Amelia's marriage, so we can see what it said? |

Yes this is the correct Amelia. However I can find no other record of her ie. birthdate, parents etc. |

Posting this as a possibility because of how it sounds and also because there is a baptism for a William Ball in Tarporley in 1829 with the same parents. |

Samuel Baugh's baptism is also in the England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906 on Ancestry, but I don't have access. Perhaps it would give his father's occupation for cross reference? |
