Mel & Ginny, I thought you may like to know I have found the marriage of Ann Brooks she married her half sisters step-son, Augustus Salmon 2 Jan 1876 Walthamstow.
Also Eunice [Noyes] Jenkins was widowed & married her stepson John, that now fits with the baptism of the children, & the 1881 census I had, so her sister married her brother-in-law [two brother married two sisters] Ann

Thank you Mel for the info So this is what I have on the NOYES Lois Rachael = 28 Dec 1875 Charles Alfred George Salmon Wid .transcript of m & BD Census [please can some look for the witnesses]
Elizabeth Reeves = 20 Jul 1869 Charles Henry Harman Publican F.A. image m & census Eliza Eunice D = 4 Dec 1865 John Henry Jenkins Widower,45 Rigger. image BD*
Frances 30 Jul 1873 James William Jenkins Gentleman!. Image M no other info + William Reeves = 7 Sep 1872 Amelia Yeates. Image m BD census .James 17 Oct 1872 Ann Yeates Image m BMD.
Ann Brooks birth Sep 1857 Hackney & 1871,1871 census nothing more found
only other Eunice marriage to John Jenkins was in Taunton Dec 1874 Re the Baptism of children to *Eliza Eunice* & John Henry Jenkins that Mel found She was * Eliza Eunice* Davis Noyes , but the ages of John Henry are not right ? The 1891 census for “John Jenkins 40 LABOURER IN FOUNDRY WIDOWER”& family are the same as the 1881 census I found And the “ Deaths Dec 1889 Jenkins Eunice 42 White chapel “ would fit in !
+James William Jenkins Gentleman!. I found this , I don’t know if it is him no age is given , but it would explain why he couldn’t be found in the 1881 census, From “Manchester Times (Manchester, England), Friday, August 15, 1890” Jenkins.- On the 1st August at Brooklyn, America, formerly of London, William James Jenkins, of Pulmonary consumption. Mel you said “could have done with the info about their mother before“ I didn’t know that you were going to look for info on the children, it was only when Ginny asked about the girls posted some info, sorry.
Mel said “did the two sisters married two brothers” at first I thought that but when the marriages were found the groom father & trade were different 30 Jul 1873 Frances Noyes = James William Jenkins F/A Gentleman father John Henry Jenkins master Mariner 04 Dec 1865 Eunice Noyes = John Henry Jenkins Wid 45 Rigger, father William John Jenkins cabinet maker. Thank you for the info on 1891 England Census John Jenkins WIDOWER, and for , Australia Death Index, 1787-1985 James Davis Noyes
1851 England Census Elizabeth Noyes Elizabeth Noyes Age 16 with William & Elizabeth Noyes was a cousin, child of Williams brother John
I tried to look up James William Jenkins in the 19 century newspapers there were about 100 hits for that name, but there is a problem with the site, it gives a list on left hand side but not image in the body, like it usually does, so I cant find any thing about him at the moment, I found on the “Old Bailey” site there is John Jenkins & James Jenkins, I will have to look into it !
Thank again for all the info you have found, I will write more when I have had time to take it all in.

If Rachel married in 1856 to Charles Brooks then William must have died before then but I want to know where the Reeves comes into it. Was William Noyes Brooks born 1850 the son of William or a man called Reeves? I found a birth of a William Reeves Noyes.
Ann mentioned seeing the children with Rachel under the name of Reeves???? I can't find a Rachel under the name of Reeves or Eunice or Frances so who were the children under the name of Reeves??

Sorry had to get OH off to the dentist!!
Right we have now established that Eunice and Frances Noyes were the daughters of William Noyes and Rachel Davis.
It seems they also had two brothers James and William who you will see on the above posting where their mum Rachel is remarried to Charles Brooks a carver and gilder.
William Noyes 1851 b Shoreditch Middx James Noyes 1853 b Shoreditch Middx
So the family must have been in London Middx in these years as the two girls Eunice and Frances were born in Oxfordshire.
Eunice married in 1865 so she will be with her husband John Jenkins on the 1871 and I think Frances was with her aunt Hepzibah on the 1871. we can't find Frances with her husband James William Jenkins at all but you found a death of a Frances Noyes in 1874 which is about a year after the marriage. I then found a death of a baby James William Jenkins in Islington of no age and wondered if Frances could have died in childbirth?
Thats as far as I have got!! and I have to go shopping this afternoon..............Bah!
