Thanks to all for your input. The reason for not going for the birth certificate was that I cannot be sure that the Huddersfield 9A/404 was the right one but otherwise I would have gone for it. The 1901 and 1911 census for this family group both indicate Joe Willie being born in Huddersfield so given all you help above it looks like my safest route would be to get this birth record. |
