Possible marriage -

Marriages Dec 1880
ARMSTRONG William Durham 10a 506
*******GODWIN Sarah Durham 10a 506
SMITH Elizabeth Durham 10a 506
********SMITH James Durham 10a 506

Sean

The above is what Christine had already put on your thread, (Goodwin). However this is just a possible.
What you need to do is firstly send for the birth of William which will give both parents full names.......meaning the mothers maiden name.

Yeah I wrote all of that down, plus some one has sent me a pic of the census, I just wanna know what Elizabeth Sarah's maiden name was, unless they were both Smith before they married, if that makes sense.

Sean

Sean Report 7 Feb 2011 18:02

Elizabeth Sarah Smith, is married to James Smith, William Smiths mother.

I will happily accept anything that you find, but Elizabeth Sarah Smith, was Smith just her married name or was that her original surname too?

**Ann**

**Ann** Report 7 Feb 2011 17:06

Shaun,
#
Your a typical man, never reads the instructions!! Calm down from your excitment trip and read through your thread slowly, the 1911 census I posted for both families.

If you need to look someone else up on the 1911. it is not FREE, you have to pay...........I have a subscription for Find MY Past which includes the 1911 census........there is also a designated 1911 site......searches are free but to see the information you have to pay.

Go to this page where you can do a free search on 1911:

http://www.1911census.co.uk/

When you have found who you want - come back here and ask for one of us to view the image!!!

It is more fun if you find things for yourself!!

However, rather that paying for image, you can ask on here !!
