OOh heck!!! mind you I thought they had a lot of children too. My Ma was one of 15, grandmama was widowed at 27 , her hubby died in the Boer war, with 6 ,then had 2 more and that partner died and then she married my grandpapa and had 5 daughters and two miscarriages. phew She was a wonderful lady. |

Yes Ann that's her on the 1911. The Yarcombe, Elizabeth with father Richard isn't her as she was still with her parents in 1891 census and mine married William Bodley in 1888. Possibility that the first one might be mine. I will have to send for the birth cert to make sure. |

The WILLY in 1871 has mother EMILY. However the only way to be sure you are following the correct family is to purchase her birth cert, giving her mother and fathers names. |

While I'm taking a look at the 1881 , take a look at this in her married name on the 1911 she is Matilda Elizabeth Bodley born Chard, living at Dawlish in Devon, I know this is her as her daughter was named Emma Willey Bodley born 1892 Dawlish and Emily Ellen is correct . Looks like they liked to fool me by calling themselves pet names, i.e.Sarah Ann Willey Bodley is known as Ann, Emily Ellen Bodleyhas been Nellie on one census |
