No, i dont think it is connected to me - its very confusing as Robert seems to be a family name and there are lots of them, especially in Norfolk! |

Well done Mac - I only looked 1911 and no sign. I don't think the Norfolk one is connected do you? |

Could this be the one getting married in 1916 - he is still single on 1901 census, but I can't find him in 1911? There are no other marriages 1901-1920 other than the 3 found so far. |

I am going to send away for their marriage cert, so i can find out who his parents are as the other Robert married to Anni has parents Robert Skippon and Elizabeth Harriet Southhall. |

The 2 children to the other Robert both married in Norfolk, 1929 & 1932, which points to that family still being there. |

If you are sure your grandfather died there, then he will be yours obviously. They might hve looked for a death and seen this one, then assumed it was theirs. |

My GGrandfather im sure died in Swansea as they were living there at the time, this is why i think the 1950 death of Robert Skippon in Glamorgan is probably my Ggrandfather if this is a correct death date. |

So it was a different Robert, i knew there must have been some cofusion somewhere. Do you think the other member has the two Roberts mixed up and it is actually my GGrandfather who died 1950 in Glamorgan as this would make sence? |

I am wondering if this contact has got the wrong birth for their Robert and it's another person entirely. Why do they think he was born in Wolverhampton? |
