To Lynne: he was baptised in 1819 in Uffington Parish Church but 1820 is close enough. |

You say that 'he was much older being born in 1819'. |

I have looked on the 1891 census to find James Mills born 1819 living in Shropshire and I cannot find him. |

I'm trying to find out what happened to Sarah Love from Skirling, near Peebles, Lanarkshire, born around 1835 who married my widowed Gt.Gt. Grandfather, James Mills, in 1864 in West Bromwhich. I found her on a census in 1861, a hawker and lodger aged 26 along with 2 of my Gt. Gt Grandfather's daughters. After that, apart from their marriage, 3 years later she disappears. He reappears in 1891 in Shropshire as a widower, though he was much older being born in 1819. |
