Rose, yes I read that. She had everything money could buy but was clearly a very unhappy lady. Husband was always coming to London but I only found her on a couple of passenger lists.

Makes you wonder if his father was having a little "dalliance" with Ada or something and she willed the rings back to the son on her death.

Philip Kleeberg,a former resident of this city who has made his home in London for many years,died yesterday in St Petersburg,Florida. With him was his only surviving relative,his son,Gordon S.P. Kleeberg,lawyer,of 44 West Eighty-Eighth Street.

Mr Kleeberg,who invented a calculating machine widely used in England had crossed the Atlantic more than 150 times.

300 Madison Ave was the business address for Kleeberg and Greenwald.

His partner, Jacob Greenwald, was listed as his contact of WW2.

Is there an index of wills in the US similar to the probate registers in the UK?

Wonder what happened to the rings then!

Doesn't look like he was married on his WW2 registration card either.

His company is Kleeberg and Greenwald, still around now.

That would suggest he isn't married then, at least not by 1914.

His father Philp is listed as next of kin on his WW1registration card. Address is 46 Gloucester Terrace.
