Mel, could I ask how you cross referenced Williams marriage details to come up with the maiden name of his wife ? |

His wife is shown as Jane on the 1861 census as posted. When you go to free bmd and find his marriage just click on the page number which in this case is 88 and you will see that there is only one Jane there. |
