In the 1881 census they're already married (presumably) and have a child aged 5. Would they not have married more like 1875 than 1885? |

hi all, for about the last 6 weeks i have been compiling the wrong tree ouch. i was on the trail of my "grandfather" Cyril Dore who was born in 1903 in Ecclesall Bierlow Yorks, well apparently not as that Cyril died a year later i think... i even have his birth cert. now i find there was another Cyril Dore born 1904 in Belper Derbyshire but i canmnot fine anymore info on him. I wonder if any kind soul would put a search out for him in 1911, parents and siblings if poss. |

If you do not get the certificate, you do not know that George is George's Father. He could be an 'adopted' relative, and showing as son on the censuses. Similarly you need the birth certificate. |

You need to get the marriage certificate of George W Hills, for confirmation that you have the correct family. |
