I have received the death cert and I do believe it could be the elusive William. His widow was present at the death and going on her initials I think I have found his marriage which took place in Croydon Sep 1917, so I will have to send for the marriage cert which should give me the name of his Father.I wonder where he dissappeared to for 50 odd years, did he live abroad for yearsThank you all for your help if anything else should pop up on him please let me know. |

I will order the death cert and it seems like you get more info from ancestry so will have to join it in the New Year.At the moment I use Find My Past. I thank all of you for your help and it has been nice chatting to you all even though I am completely confused |

You wont get that death from FreeBMD as it has not been transcribed yet. I used Ancestry which has a complete database up to 2005 |
