How have you linked the marriage of Ellen Bowman - father Thomas - to the Thomas Bowman born in Southwark in 1880/1, if you haven't got any documentary proof? |

I think I have found their marriage on freebmd. Jun 1899 in stockton. I matched up the numbers (10a 113) and it matches with a thomas bowman and ellen macintosh? Believe it or not I have never used freebmd before! Am learning all these new things, very exciting! |

I think it must be correct, only a year out. I thought 1904 and christening is 23 dec 1903 so quite close. The christening was in Walham Green, London. The Ellen I'm talking of died in 1931, after marrying frederick j cocklin and having 2 daughters, ivy lillian and florence. Her daughters were both born in Fulham, they were only 2 & 4 when she died so Im guessing that is where she died also. |

Unfortunately, 1911 search doesn't work the same as Ancestry....can't specify relationships. |

If it is the correct christening then its also Ellen, just a bit confused as ellen died very young so thought had a year of birth right but obviously not?? iIf you search with mothers name also and a wider year of birth does anything show in 1911? |
