Heh, I'll take Roses! There's a thread on Tips -- the new management here is sending selected people invitations to become "official" helpers (I didn't get one) and promising goodies like free platinum memberships and a prezzie at Christmas. Everybody figures it will be a tin of Roses, and I didn't know what they were. ;) |

A social worker years ago told my sisterinlaw that her birth mother was from Dublin?and so that why I went to the gro in Dublin and found an one entry for a Margaret Mary Dalton as i recall born in 1922.And then the parents James and Margaret McCarthy, also a son named James. |

So it seems you did find her birth record -- if you can do that again, we can have her date of birth!! |

Maybe it should be James Dalton formerly of North Brunswick St I shouldbe looking for for.I also once put a piece in the Irelands Own magazine, some chap contacted me and said he remembered Margaret but everyone called her Jenny or Jennie. |

It wouldn't likely matter what everyone called her -- she would have married and died as Margaret Mary, in all likelihood. |
