IIB.

There are at least 35 marriages for a Doris A Harris after 1922 on

http://freebmd.org.uk

Any one of which could be her.

Your best bet is to get her birth cert for her exact date of birth and then we may be able to trace her if she died before 2006 but after 1968.
Each and every Doris A ????death would have to be cross referenced with a possible marriage to try and track who she married ,if she married so that her death cert could be sent for to find any possible address or relatives for her ...

Have you got her exact date of birth, to make trying to find her death a lot easier (possibly)?

Chances are they would have married so you would need to know the married names. Have you looked for marriages

FBG

LOL not my fault if Janey pinched the first 2 initials of the world famous bulldozer company lol.........although I think they may have serious competition there when it comes to bulldozing brick walls........JC or JCB??? ;-)))))

Much the best thing to do IIC in case any of them googled their name for some reason they would find this and wonder what was going on.Much better to write a letter to make contact in the first instance, then they have the option to ignore it or respond in whatever way they wish.

Contrary Mary
Who/what is this JCB please?
I know JC can be a bit like a bulldozer at times, but calling her that will not further your case with her methinks.;)
Much better to call her something nice,if you can think of anything of course..

Also polishes JC's, FBG,s and Ginny's halos.................

......whilst preparing the info about my brickwall (the one that requires the following: JCB, ability to *think outside the box* and infinite time and patience!) ready to post begging for help ;-))))))

It's a serious challenge and not to be undertaken by the faint hearted - trust me! hehehehe

JaneyCanuck Report 4 Nov 2010 22:29

Oh, but one more thing ...

You must now go post your gushing overwhelmed gratitude on the Success Stories board, so FBG and I can make other people go read it and curtsey to us.

(When you post on that board the post doesn't show up til the next day, so don't go posting duplicates when you don't see it in the list ... hahahaha.)

********************************

Yeah, yeah, you too FBG.

Actually, neither of us ever saw what the other did.

I'll send you copies.

I'll take that one. ;)

Da bomb
An old but cool way of calling something awesome.
The term was used a lot in the mid to late 90s.
It has completely dissappeared from the Slang radar
after September 11th, 2001 because no one wanted
to be suspected of terrorism for using it.

Sigh.

You're welcome welcome welcome!

Oooooooooo dear.Never ever have I looked,so again Ooooooo dear.
But IIC is not THAT silly as to post trillions of posts on the same family ,so we at least know its not her that I mean..

Last lookup sent on for Nellies daughters poss address.

I am all searched out tonight,so I am now going to lie on my sofa for a while and I think I may indulge in some choccy as well.

They all use WICKED or AWESOME now I think JC,(Americanisms?)certainly do over here, never heard that one before, even with all the teenage tearaways I know.....and was myself once !

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 4 Nov 2010 22:17

Oh, FBG, it's urban USAmerican slang, I believe. Got google at all? ;)

... Har har, oh woe is me. I asked urbandictionary, to my sorrow.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=da%20bomb

Da Bomb
A really stupid way of saying something's awesome
...I mean how old is it now??
[example:]
Dude: Wooow! That wuz da bomb!
Guy: Dude, thats old...shut up.

but then we have

da bomb
the best ~ simply outstanding; no comparison or greater value
can be placed to another of similar type of manner

I'll take that one. ;)

even though it's, like, kinda illiterate.

Have we noticed how this thread still appears in the board list?

(Editing the content doesn't change how it shows up in the list.)

What is "da bomb"JC,I dont get that bit of Canuck slang.

There are a lot of Harris/Wood births in and around the right time in Kings Norton to be nans brothers and sisters(or not),but I only picked the names we knew for sure.
You can see them all on http://freebmd.org.uk
