i can't see them on 91 either, but it was handy his mother being on the 1911, sorry it's always money you'd rather not have to spend !

Hi and thanks for all your input. Lindsey I think you could be right about the cert being the wrong one. I hate when that happens. I will have to send for the one you posted and see what that turns up. I knew I had them on the 1911/1901 and 1881, father Henry mother mary. I dont have the 1891 census so not sure when Henry died. Mary was a widow in 1901. Darn it, these certs cost way to much now.
Thanks again Kathy

Please see last post on this thread as it is rather long, I am still looking for help in a few areas Thanks
Ok, the marriage cert for William Henry Bevan to Jessie Bloomer came today. William was age 28 a bachelor living 3 back 12 Hope st Birmingham Parish St Lukes. His father was named, William Henry Richard Kynersley Bevan. Deceased in 1907 when the marriage took place.
So it looks like I had it wrong, I will do a bit digging later tonight as I am off out now, just wanted all who have been helping with this one what turned up.
Thanks to all Kathy
I know I have added this posting on another line but thought it might be better to start a fresh line so as not to cause confusing
UPDATE Hi I have the certs that I sent for and I am a bit confused now.
The line goes like this.
Aurther James Bevan b NOV 1915, father William Henry, mother Jessie Bloomer Both born Birmingham county Warwick. So far we had it right.
The birth cert for his father William Henry Bevan b march 1881, states his father was William Bevan mother Sarah Ann Turnpenny.
I have found the marriage for them.
Marriages Mar 1875 Bevan William Birmingham 6d 5 Turnpenny Sarah Ann Birmingham 6d 5
Also the 1881 census
William BEVAN Head M Male 21 Birmg, Warwick, England Bricklayers Laborer Sarah A. BEVAN Wife M Female 20 Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England William H. BEVAN Son Male 2 w Birmg, Warwick, England

If you look at the ages it would mean that when they married they would have been 15 and 14? The fact they have a son William Henry age 2 weeks would fit. Also the address on the birth cert for the son has the same address as the 1881 census? Its all a bit odd.
Anyway, if anyone can find them in any other census i might be able to piece it together.
Any input would be welcome. On a sorrier subject my little dog died in my arms on monday she was only 8 but had a bad heart, i am heartbroken I am trying to keep busy and keep my mind occupied, so if I seem a bit confused please bare with me
Many thanks Kathy
