Lady K looking at that 1901 census has Frederick as butchers assistant aged 28, not 'very' likely he would become a lighterman... in as much as it does tend to be witing families and served apprenticeship from young age.... |

my grandmother louisa smith married thomas samuel reed 1918 stepney ,address given for both on marriage certificate was 57 bancroft road , witness albert smith,i am trying to link louisa and her father frederick to this address , could be wrong , thomas ocupation given as soldier in 1918 ,frederick lighterman, if i knew louisa mothers name i could make the link , ive checked birth records for louisa but so many smiths born 1900 with father as frederick , how can i check electoral rolls around 1918 onwards , any help would be kindly appreciated |
