Molly

Get the marriage certificate and we can trace back from there.

The 1911 that Tracey posted earlier is very likely to be George and his family

Look at the death I posted over the other page for George...do you remember what date he died?

Gee Report 17 Oct 2010 13:20

Ipswich search results for George A Parker from 1870 to 1930...........

Zero..nil..nada..nowt what so ever. So that means he was born elsewhere

Keable/Keeble......the marriage may well have been spelt incorrectly and your Lily may well have been born elsewhere

The first child is born only a few months after the marriage which meant Lily was pregnant at the time....and Elsa was born in Croydon

Im not using Freebmd Im using the complete BMD from Ancestry which is from 1837 to 2005

Are you sure of the spellings you are using, Keeble..Keable?

Do you have any certificates at all that can give something specific to work on?

Robin and Elsa were both born in Croydon

Hello Molly, this is the only marriage in FreeBMD for those names in the 1920's (As shown earlier by Patricia):

Marriages Mar 1928 (98%)
KEABLE Lilian A Parker Croydon 2a 579
PARKER George A Keable Croydon 2a 579

The names and year are a definite match for the info you give, but the location isn't Ipswich.

Personally, I'd be inclined to send off for the certificate to verify the father's names for both parties. Hope this helps.

Molly

Molly Report 17 Oct 2010 11:52

It could be either but jax's census is not the one im looking for! its yours thats right. My family was from ipswich not surrey!

And no i dont have the marriage certificate! i just know that they were married in 1928
