Unfortunately, this looks to be the corresponding death for the Bebbington birth: |

Yeah we're not going to say anything to my mum just yet. My sister has found another Gordon Price born to mother maiden name Jackson, who married a William Price (he cud've dropped the Thomas) in 1924. This was West Brom but we dont know for definate like you say, that he was born in Stoke on Trent. We're going to keep digging and see what else we can come up with. I think the next plan is to check electoral roll and see which set of grandparents they moved in with when they got married. If it was on mothers side then that should give us the mothers maiden name. Will be our luck though that it was on fathers side, lol |

Aaah thanks so much for sourcing this information for me, it really is very kind of you and very much appreciated. I will let you know tomorrow if I manage to get an answer about the Bebbington one. I think a visit to Stoke Archives is the answer. |

With his dad being a commercial traveller he could have been born anywhere. |

The electrol roll will only give names of people that could vote. The voting age was 21 back then just thought I would mention it |

Thank you Rose, I am going to write all of this information down into some sort of order and then I think I may make a trip to Stoke on Saturday. I was wondering in bed last night about why they maybe lived with grandparents rather than his parents and it could possibly be that his parents lived outside stoke on trent, in which case, as you say he was born somewhere else. |
