The second marriage to Catherine looks good as it's the same area. I will have to get both certs for Owen and James. |

Wendy do you know roughly what year Mary Anne was born? as it would determine which marriage Mary Anne was born into. |

Sorry Wendy I have drawn a blank with James & Mary births, I can't find them in the 1901 Irish census, have you found them in the 1911 English census? |
|||

Wendy | Report | 18 Sep 2010 18:09 |
Hi Maura. No I have not found them on 1911 cencus. But I know where they were through my husbands cousin, and from his fathers birth cert (1905) and the other siblings born in Mickleton-in Teesdale, North Yorkshire. |

Wendy if you have James & Mary's marriage cert, try contacting the church they married in, sometimes the church has recorded both parents names in the church records. |

Thank you so very much Maura. The family thought that James had left his family In Middleton, but it seems he did not. Still have to work out how Mary Ann ended up alone in Consett, Durham. Still that will have to wait for another time. |
