I'm not seeing them on the 1911 although I found Louie's birth so we know thats right but will keep looking maybe transcribed wrong

Jax, your a gem.. this is what i was looking for... many many thanks.
my aunt called her ellen but others called her nellie.. and with her having a daughter nellie got me confused.
Another thing is this... am looking for my grandmothers family.. her name was Louie May Lobb.. born in 1906.. swansea.. her father was William Lobb born in 1873 and her mother Annie Ekstrom around same time i suppose.. they were married in 1904 in swansea. I know Annie's father was from sweden. Any details about this side of the family would mean a lot. Many thanks

There is a 1911 census with Jane on and she had said she had been married 45 years even though she was widowed so the date is about right if you had james birth cert that would give her maiden name

My father James william randall was born in Pontardawe in 1933.. his father George W Randall.. was born in 1907 in Surrey. George's father was James Randall.. born in 1879, he married Ellen nee Glover who according to my aunt was born in 1880 in Eastbourne, but i believe was in Norwood.
Actually i have just relooked at the info you sent and i dont think it is them.. surrey seems to be the place that sticks out so far.

They also had a daughter Nellie who possibly was called Ellen like her mother, she was born in 1908. Also another son John born in 1905.
I have them all as born in Surrey.
Its all a maze to me right now. Sorry for the confusion.

Jax.... thats them... i must have got all confused with names as there is so many georges, james and william's in their family. It was my aunt who say he was born in Docklands.. but she is 73 now so probably her memory going a bit.
Many thanks for this.. this means my grandad.. George W Randall was born in 1907.

Good thinking Jax, but she did say Ellen Glover was born 1880.

When was George W born?

No marriage of Ellen Glover to James Randall on free bmd.

when did James marry? are you sure where he was born? I'm sure Docklands is not in south London

Can anyone please help me find details about James Randall.. born in 1879 in Docklands, South London.. and died around 1969. He is the father of George W Randall. And also James's wife Ellen Randall (nee Glover) born in 1880.
