I am so lost :( i seem to have gone through the wrong paths and ended up on the wrong way. I have William Roberts (Lobb) married to annie ekstrom in 1904. Thats where it ends... my aunt says that he was born in stroud.. gloucestershire.. he had 7 kids.. Louie May Lobb (Roberts), Sarah G E Lobb, David Lobb, Eunice Lobb.. James Lobb, Annie Lobb and Edith Violet Lobb. The information you gave me before am not sure about. I even have 2 different dates of birth for william.. one is 1884... and the other 1873. How can I find out his real date of birth and place of birth.. without getting certificate as i dont have access to get it.

I got 1873 from ancestry family tree... everywhere else i read said 1884.. so the william roberts (lobb) you posted about yesterday is the guy am looking for?? Am so sorry for being a pest Jax.. god blessed you with patience dear *smiles*

Ok I have just looked at that tree and he has no evidence to back it up.

If you subscribe to ancestry why not send him a message he was on there today

Also have you found a birth that matches that one? because I hav'nt

I did Jax, seems he had a problem with the date of someone on his tree also. I have checked back and your dates that you gave seem to be the right ones.. I just got so confused. Is it possible for williams mother to be called Elizabeth in one record and Isabella in other??

She can be called what she wants really

I had a gt grandmother that was known as Ellen from her marriage onwards and wondered why I could'nt find her before...because her name was Eleanor.
There was no births in the name of Elizabella or Isabella so Elizabeth seemed to be the best bet

Just dont copy what others put on their tree unless you have evidence to prove it is correct

Jax, on the 1891 census, she is down as Isabella Roberts...and born in woolaston, cornwall... yet on another she is elizabeth Lobb and her place of birth bodmin, cornwall.. birth years are the same. How do I know which one is her? Also i am not sure where her husband John Roberts was born.

John Roberts was born Woolaston, Gloucestershire.

As I said before I was not sure where she was born either as 1901 says somerset, I will have a look on 1911 see if she is on that

Crookhorn is in Hampshire according to google so your guess is as good as mine

1901 census says John Roberts was born Lidney Gloucestershire so thats three different places although county is the same
