My aim for both families has been of course to get the info for her, but also I would love to find someone who has photos of my grand parents. I have been working on my late dads side and we have had more success that side. We seem to have lost Astra!!!! Have just found your Usher thread. Someone there has found the reference for Francis Edward's birth, so you will be able to order the cert now. You know it's the right one because the baptism of the twins confirms the parents' names.

i will order it tomoz, a deep memory of searching I seem to think that George Usher cames from Wicklow Ireland, dont where I got that from

I shut down last night as had other things to do but I've caught up with you I think this morning.
As I'm away next week I'm really thankful that the Annie and Mary saga has been resolved at least until the certificates arrive to confirm or dispute the findings! Although I am 99.9% sure we are correct I can't achieve that extra 0.1% until you have the papers in your hand and confirm the details for us. I will be in and out again today so will keep an eye on the boards but if I don't get back to you before you leave have a great time in the US Ray and I look forward to hearing from you on your return.

Janice, correction to my assumption last night, the living relatives my mum would like to persue is COSBYS, she thinks there is a line of them still living in the Welwyn Garden City area, but that is as much as she knows, it is my interset in the USHER side, speak to you later on hopefully.

Does your Mum remember any of her cousins? I've found a son for Fred and Ellen called Kenneth born 1928. He married a Patricia and they had 3 boys Peter, Mark and Paul in Hertfordshire.
