THANKS FOR THAT .HOW CAN I GET INFO ABOUT A DEATH ?the story go`s like this :-my mum recalls sombody have an accedent while at work
she seemed to think it was my great grandmother.....she was pulled into
a machine and her hair got caught.well i won`t go into detail but she by her hair.it could`nt have been my g.g.grandmother because if my maths are right she lived to 71.but georges wife died young did`nt she!!!!!.i am not at work tommorrow so i am up later han usual.

CATHERINE WAS MARRIED TO A HENRY DEWSBURY.WE HAVE A PROBLEM THOUGH MY GRANDAD WAS JOHN JOSEPH HE WAS BORN IN 1893 AND DIED IN 1944 .WHO IS LITTLE JOE AGE 11 IN 1911 CENCUS.?I CAN REMEMBER MY UNCLE JOE HE DIED IN1969 SO MY MUM TELLS ME.HE WAS 52.MUM SAID HE WAS BORN IN 1916???? THERE ARE LOADS OF OTHERS THAT MY MUM TALKS OF BUT I CANT SEEM TO FIT THEM IN TO THE PICTURE.

George was 20 in 1901 and 30 in 1911 census, so if his wife died in between these dates I would expect her to be in her 20's. There are several deaths for an Elizabeth Mawdsley at this time, but this one is the only one whose age fits:-

which must be the Joseph in 1901 and 1911 census, but as you can see he was actually born John Joseph.

1891 census has son Thomas born 1890/1 with middle name beginning with R.
Lancashire bmd has this birth which looks to be him:-

.....which shows mothers maiden name as Seddon, so 1874 marriage does look to be the correct one.

outs ,out today with a calculater tring to work out some births .marriages and deaths, so i can order some certificates .for Robert and Margaret .but they add

Just had another look at the 1901 census and :-
Clara Calvert is not actually living in the same house as Robert and Margaret. She is living 9 Wellington St. Cottage House for Poor Children and is the Matron, so she is not the mother or Margaret.

Hi ,I am having trouble getting cencus results with G.R.Ihave one form
Ansestry in front of me but cannot get it on this site! Its 1901 and 1911
cencus for robert Mawdsley aged 49 married to margaret,also aged 49.with children.george aged 20,kate aged 18,thomas 10,and joseph
aged 8 .I know the parents ages have been variable.but i just cannot
find them on this site.I have even looked for the children no joy.they all
come from formby lancs and the last address on the 1901 cencus was
42 demark street waterloo seaforth lancs can any body help please help thank you
