Do you need me to look up anything on the ER? I also have the Land Registry records, which will tell you when and for how much a property was sold.

It might be the people you are looking for are still in the same property, but merely removed from the edited ER.

the other address ive deleted
have some info that needs to be followed up once ive done that i will know if this death cert is correct or not

I've told them I have no understanding, I could not care less about my problem being logged, I am not interested in just how sorry they are, I want it fixed. Meanwhile, I'll try every now and again and maybe I'll get in.

And meanwhile, you haven't removed that address info from your post on page 2. I don't know why. Any purpose it might serve (which should have been by private message) it has now served, if what I sent was connected, which it just seems it must be. It really does need to be deleted.

David, there's too much information on the previous page -- someone's address in 1997 could be their address today. (Mine was and is.)

In fact, I'm sending you a listing from BT on line that might be a way of finding out whether you have the right certificate. But you should delete the address info from that post.

i have recieved a death cert for sidney wiliiam evans today
{ do not have a marr for him}the death cert reads as follows
sidney wililam evans may 13 th 1997greenwich district hospital greenwich
date & place of birth march 20th 1920 southend essex
occupation fruiterer {retired}
name & surname of informant john david evans {son}
cause of death bronchopnemonia chronic airways disease
date of registration may 14th 1997
any info of either sidney or his son john david evans but do not have a marr for sidney hope this is the correct cert ??

just to add my appreciation to janey as you will see she has spent some time with help & time consuming efforts with the info she has found for me
i realise she has others to try to help with thier searches & will add posts to my thread in order to ease janeys researches & the time it can take

Unfortunately that makes no sense to me. I found the two possible marriages. When you checked them with your relation, he gave you the wife's name and child's name that enabled you to pick from them, from the info I had found and given you about one of the marriages, which you have posted in the preceding message. In other words, that info was already known.

I hope you will not do it at all; there is no way to carefully word personal information about someone relating to the last 10 years or so. What you might do is post the new surname of the woman in question. And I hope by "a thread" you mean a post in this thread, since I'm sure you don't intend to submit the same or similar material more than once.

I'm so glad I have been able to help to the rather large extent (a total of about 20 PMs' worth of info to and fro) that I was. Since you don't like my attitude, I'm sure you will find others eager to help.

also his ex wife susan a rogers
they were married cambridge 1975 have those details
also thier daughter claire louise 1978 cambridge
they will all be alive so if anyone can trace any details please send by pm

Your relation just gave you the info that I spent time "finding". If I'd had that first, I would have known what I was looking for ...

You seem to be getting info from him in dribs or drabs. Or I dunno, maybe the info I found jogged his memory. But I'd get back to him and get him to search his memory files for anything else he might have there!

The Cambridgeshire events were the right ones, for anyone else's info.
