If Annie and Edward are living separate in both 1901 and 1911 then they must have separated, which seems odd for the times. |

Thanks for that, I never thought of trying Waxeling. I just don't understand though why Edward and his wife Annie are living in separate places in 1901. Is it possible that they could have divorced or separated? |

Now I am really confused I found an Annie Wakeling living with a Mary Heath and Amealia Light and Ashley Wakeling in 1901 and according to Free bmd Eward Wakeling married Annie Light in 1877. I know definitely that Beatrices parents were Edward and Annie could you change from being in R.A to being a proctor of a university. I am not quite sure what a proctor is But thanks once again Ginny |

He is in Shoeburyness in 1881 according to the census image for his wife and children. |
