Morning :-D

Glad I popped in when there were bacon butties doing the rounds....thanks... :-D

I agree Gins......our Jonesey would have had something to say about last night's performance. I didn't see any of it because I was out.......and it was great on the roads because it was so quiet.. ;-)

Sounds like you are reading all the paper bumph which comes with your pills Gins. I rarely look at the possible side effects whenever I have to take meds - I'd end up suffering from everything!!

Dea, thank you for the kind offer to help with my soldiers......I'll ask on here when I hit a snag - as I undoubtedly will do!! :-D

Time to go walkies I think....~~~~

Linds.......kiss of death!

Been odd here today, very dull and humid until now SUNSHINE and hot

Was thinking about the England match earlier and thought about our Jonesey. We would have had some banter over it :-)

Dea

That's what the nurse said to me 'white coat syndrome' That's why she told me to measure it at home

What I find strange, it despite my pressure being dangerously high, none of the medical team have mentioned what to do or even mentioned it all after the reading.....I find that odd

Anyway, I'm not thick, so took into my own hands

I'm also not taking the meds they gave me for my hands.....can cause: lung damage, liver damage, reduce the immune system, can lead to death...that's just a few!

I will take back my scrip and ask for something that's not going to kill me

Dea

Dea Report 18 Jun 2014 15:37

Hubby suffers from what they term 'white coat hypertension' - whenever they take a reading at the surgery or the hospital it is always sky high but when he takes it at home it is fine ;-) :-D :-D Apparently this is quite a common syndrome................

I don't mind you having salted butter Dea.......it's much nicer

Worked the machine Linds

Reading at the hospital was sky high 233/110, that was last Wednesday. When I saw the nurse, I asked her to take it again on her non electronic machine and it read 177/95...........bit of a difference eh

As you know, been on a no salt/caffeine diet, lots of bananas and hula hoop at a pace for 10 mins a day. Today my reading was 122/91

Mind you, they wrap the cuff so tight at the hospital, it nearly blows my arm off before it starts to inflate! And they take the reading, stood up, in the middle of the corridor, hardly conducive to being relaxed

If I don't wrap the cuff correctly on my machine, it tells you (so Im happy I'm doing it right) and although I wrap it tight, I don't stop the flow of blood!

Gins be careful you don't raise your blood pressure trying to work out how to use that monitor ;-)

Todays task is just a quick tidy up then who knows :-)

Dea

Dea Report 18 Jun 2014 07:18

Thanks for the lovely teacakes Ginns <3 I hope you don't mind though but I brought my own butter ;-) :-D :-D

See you later,

Mornin all~~~~~~~

Toasted teacakes and muffins with lots of 'unsalted' butter

Yesterday, watching BBC breakfast news, they stated that food has not come down in price but the price 'rises' have slowed down

Today, they are saying that prices have come down! Interviewing a market tradesman, he refuted the idea that prices had come down

Well, just shows, you cant believe everything on the news ;-)
