We were told on one time he ran away, they found him, minus one stocking which was property of the work house, so he was punished for stealing!

Whipped poor thing :-(

Oh Linds, what a night/day, hope your MiL is OK

Dea, you keep the NHS going ;-) <3

Had a fab day at the work house, brilliant guided tour and then left to ourselves with an audio story, guiding us room by room

Had lunch in the beautiful little village, sat outside eating, surrounded by the most amazing flowers

Had a story about a boy who kept running away - Joseph Disney age 9 in 1851 when he was in Southwell work house

When I got back, looked him up and can only find him 1851 in the work house :-(

Just have to wait for the phone call now to tell me when I have to go in....

Gins have a nice day

Dea <3

Anyone got a couple of clothes pegs handy?

I need them to keep my eyes open

J's mobile went at 3am this morning. His Mum had had a fall going to the toilet.

Dad had broken her fall (hurt his shoulder) but couldn't get her up he phoned J's niece (they always phone his sister but she is on holiday so he would just have phoned her number automatically)

he couldn't lift her so had covered her up

So J and brother go over Dr had been called

j said no point in me going as couldn't do anything so one of us should get a sleep.

Sleep :-(

I got about 3 texts to update me up to 5.30 then another at 7.45 to say he was on way home.

The Dr didn't come out sent ambulance and she is in hospital for tests.

J gets home comes to bed (wakening me in the process) and I try to get to sleep

DIL texts me at 9.30 to ask if we still have girls jackets (they have loads aargh)

I text her tell her I don't know, tell her what's happened and say if she needs them I will go and look in car to let me know

Wait 20 minutes, wide a wake so get up find yes we have jackets. try phoning her, no reply so send text.

still not heard back . :-( :-(

Have a feeling today is going to be one of those days :-)

Gins hope the hay fever is a bit better today

Dea hope everything goes ok tomorrow

The girls were fun today we took them to visit in-laws then took them home about 4.15.

Son cooked lasagne for dinner.

Tomorrow we have to dismantle our bed and tidy the bedroom.

New bed is coming on Friday but the uplift of the old one can be anytime from 7am on Friday so got to dismantle the old one on Thursday.

No 1 son will stay at his partners so we have a bed to sleep in :-)

Gins and Dea I have posted pictures on the dark side. See what you think of my favourite waiter ;-)

Not really Dea, just like any other injection.

I saw the nurse last Wed, thinking I was seeing the doc. I asked her for the injections so she made me an appointment for today.

When I got there, the doc was just trying to persuade me to take the meds, the ones screw your organs up. He was just saying goodbye and I said 'what about my injection'

He didn't know that is what I was there for!

I sympathise with the hayfever.....it's a horrible thing to have.....drip, drip, drip. Sniff, sniff, sniff. Wipe, wipe, wipe. ;-)

I have just been in my bedroon to put my jimmy jams on and it is buddy freezing !!! - I have the air conditioner on............................

Hope you enjoy the grandchildren tomorrow Linds - you will soon need another holiday ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Hope the hay fever gets under control soon Ginns - I can not understand why there has been no progress in this area of research for so many years.............O.K. - It is not 'life threatening' but it is seriously debilitating when you have to try to work and study etc. - You would think that more could be done!!!

Just got on here busy day

we had the girls and they wrecked the place had to take them to do food shop as cupboards were bare.

Then J ran DIL and O to hospital for her appointment.

She has to go back in November for another check up they want to wait and see if her ears start giving her problems in the winter.

If they give her any trouble before then Mummy has to phone them.

Got some tidying up done and am too tired to do any more tonight.

Decided I am not going to try to get everything done in a day :-D

Pointless anyway as we have the girls tomorrow :-)

Gins I will put the pic on our FB as it is on Jims timeline which is why you cant see it <3

I must have gone through half a box of tissues today.........hay fever really hit bad

Apart from the sneezing, runny eyes, the most horrid bit is the stinging, runny nose

:-(
