Dea,

They will love that boat trip.

Gins shouldn't think you will need a receipt just show them the pan. You are lucky you weren't injured

Went to see the house then to local Sainsbury's to look at toy sale - wate of time

Then to Debenhams to get some stuff for girls.

Home I went for shower OH made a stir fry.

Round to sons for 6.30 for F's birthday cake.

Today we caught up on housework now sitting on my b*m watching TV

Tomorrow got stuff to take back to shops and bits and pieces to get.

There is nothing on here about the Santa Cruises but this gives you a link to the main site where you can see some details of 'our boat' the St Clare:

It's a very nice narrow boat Ginns - It has all 'mod cons' and central heating so we should be cosy warm. ;-) :-D

There is an area where you can sit outside though so we will take some snuggles just in case.

That sounds lovely Dea, wrapped up cosy and warm, just the kind of thing I like :-)

I've not taken the pan back yet but you're right, they have been recalled :-|

Edit: I meant SHOULD have been recalled!

I have just booked a cruise on a narrow boat with Santa for the middle of December with the grandchildren and their mum and dad !

We will all have Sunday lunch at a pub on the riverside and be picked up there - the boat only holds 12 people so we will have a whole half of it to ourselves - I do hope they will enjoy it.

We usually take them to see Santa at the Golf Club where they have a nice party with an entertainer but hubby has had to give up his golf because of his bad back so we can't really go there this year.

This is not really a party but I hope they will enjoy it just the same..........

That is SO dangerous Ginns - you could have been injured !!

Sainsbury's should have recalled them all and put out warnings !

If you don't get any joy from Sainsbury's you should get onto the Trading Standards people so that they can warn the Public.

Cripes :-0 :-0 :-0

Cooking sausage in a Sainsbury's cooks collection, copper based frying pan (bought in Jan) and there was a massive bang, I thought the hob had cracked

When cleaning the pan, noticed a huge lump on the base of the pan! Looked at online reviews on the Sainsbury's website and it seems to be a manufacturing fault.

The heavy copper base is not secured to the pan, water get's in between the copper and the pan, causing it to create steam and explode

Some people have been burnt when the oil has splashed on explosion

Don't have a receipt but will popping into our local store later :-(

I just had a lovely pizza !

I don't actually like pizzas but I was in my local Tesco today and they had some 'tasters' out - one was bits of Pizza and it was gorgeous !

They have a new section where they make up pizzas with your choice of toppings - this one was a thin crispy base topped with cheese, ham, spicy chicken, Jalapenos, mushrooms and sweetcorn.

The base was really scrummy and light so I bought one and even hubby loved it ;-)

The last time I had a pizza which I really enjoyed was around 1980 in Majorca - I will be going again......................

P.S. - I have to add that it cost me the princely sum of £2.65 !!!

Well, I am back from the Fair with all those huge rides, bright lights and loud music.

It's so nice to be home in the peace and quiet !

It's strange to think that last year I was holding 'little grand-daughter's ' hand as we walked around but this year she has grown so much we were linking arms - she is almost as big as me now and she is not yet 10 !! :-0

They do grow up so quickly don't they ?
