I told my boys, broccoli were tiny trees!

All of the food I cooked for the kids was veg.........they had no choice

It can be disguised in pasta sauce's I remember the youngest saying (in the back of the car, off for a xmas shop) 'carrots are amazing'!!!!!

I know that one only too well Linds - Grandson will not eat any veg in his house !!

I now have him trained to eat carrots and peas !! - Quite a breakthrough, though he still won't eat them anywhere else but here !!

Working on the broccoli now.........................

We will get there one day !!!!!!!!!

Oh I did sit down Gins I was too tired to do anything else ;-)

DIL has just picked the girls up she came at 5pm and O was misbehaving.

She had been good all day the minute Mummy arrived she started acting like a baby.

Son is off tomorrow so we don't have them :-)

I am doing nothing tonight but sitting down :-)

Another busy day

Went to see what sons new kitchen looked like. Not quite finished but looks good.

Then we went to hospital to visit MIL. She is getting more confused wish they would get her settled into a care home.

Left her and went to get some shopping done. then we decided to eat out to fortify ourselves for having the girls for the next two days ;-)

Now been having trouble with Google :-|

I have done a lovely cheese and mushroom quiche for breakfast - you can have it with bacon or a fresh green salad.................. <3

Yes I can get stroppy especially when someone keeps talking over me. I am the customer and they have taken the money form my account

Been busy we were out for dinner last night then we had the girls today to let son and DIL finish their Christmas shopping.

Morning,

Ate my breakfast while I was on the phone trying to get through to toy store.

Phoned them 25 times before I got through :-|

Long story short. I ordered using the click and collect system. They then sent email to cancel order saying out of stock.

It was still showing on web so I phoned the store last night. They said if I phoned at 9am this morning they would check stock and if any in would put aside

When I got through I got a stroppy guy who said yes stock in (said it was in last night ) so we go through all the why didn't they just put one aside last night/why was it cancelled if you have stock?

He said he couldn't put one aside but I could come and get one. :-P

Lets just say I can be stroppy too and he did put one aside ;-)

My SIL stays 5 minutes from store and has been and collected it for me.

Now I am going to look to see where I send complaint and to get my cash back from paypal :-)

'My' Canadian Cookies are make from plain flour, Rolled oats, dessicated coconut, butter, sugar and golden syrup + a tiny bit of bicarb of soda and hot water to mix at the end.

They come out golden brown and deliciously crisp but very slightly chewy when you bite through.

They are still my son's favourite after almost 40 years.......
