Black Friday is the name given to the shopping day after Thanksgiving. It was originally called Black Friday because so many people went out to shop that it caused traffic accidents and sometimes even violence

I wouldn't be fighting through any shops today, I never go to the sales either, it's normally cr#p that they haven't managed to sell!

It's another silly American thingy Ginns (NO offence to our Mo !!!)

It's like Trick or treat and Mothers day and all the other things which have come over here and have not been wanted !!

Glad you got a bargain but I wish these things would go away !!

What's with the 'Black Friday' idiots, not just the shoppers but the stores :-|

Mind you, I got a bargain online, 25% off everything today at Figleaves, saved almost £40

The irony of it was I ordered several things last week and had to send them all back, too small.

Ordered them again today in a bigger size with the 25% off :-D

I keep thinking this is Thursday :-)

Its because we had the girls yesterday and usually have them on a Wednesday :-)

Dea the boys still talk about the green potatoes I used to give them (broccoli mashed into potatoes)

O wont eat potatoes at home she eats them here no problem.

F had two lunches yesterday her own and a chicken baguette that SIL brought for lunch. They were huge so we cut them in half and F helped herself to one :-D

Fred's not feeling hungry.............I've eaten his toast ;-)
