Linda

Linda Report 9 Dec 2014 22:46

Have registered a complaint with T Standards and phone KF's HO am waiting on local area manager phoning me

This can take up to 3 days. They have been told if I don't get a call I will not be

calling them back and I will be using social media and other means to spread the

word about their appalling practice of ripping off customers.

Linds

I took my last car (BMW) to K Fit for it's first MOT, they failed it on the emissions. Told me they could fix the problem and re-test, for a price, which I can't remember now

Took it down to the BMW dealer (where I should have gone in the first place) where they ran a test........

Emissions were perfect

Sytner (BMW dealer) immediately contacted SOVA to report K Fit. SOVA were out the next day to check K Fit equipment and records

These Garages are often a rip-off Linds.

I always take mine to the local Co-op Garage where I have been going for over 20 years. My husband and friends and relatives also go there too !

Before that the garages always found something wrong - a brake pipe or a bit of the exhaust or anything which cost a lot of money but my Co-Op garage just told me the truth and only charged me when there was something to charge me for !!!

Go for it !! - If they have done wrong - post it on social media and save the other poor souls from falling for it !!

Hello

I'm back did you miss me?

Gins just caught up on here sorry to hear about your friend you and JB must have got a shock <3 <3

My cake turned out ok and O loved it.

Been busy yesterday taking sons car to my mechanic as a certain well known garage had told him that he needed to get the suspension done at a cost of around £280

He had just had the brake discs and pads replace at £180
My guy said he would have charged £100-£120 for the work.

He isn't open on a Saturday and son couldn't wait till then

He checked the suspension yesterday and said nothing wrong with car and it would pass an MOT no problem

We are drafting a complaint to K Fit and I am also going to contact trading Standards

I am ANGRY the money they quoted is a months wages to my son who is working P/T and is a student

I will also advise them that we will be posting on social media about their rip off business standards

Sorry I missed it this morning Dea, it's just as nice cold :-D

We went to do our normal shop at Sainsbury but I had other ideas. I kept picking up stuff for xmas and JB said not to do that!

By the time we'd finished we'd just about got everything in terms of goodies

Filled the hamper with the stuff and it's away until the big day

...........and although JB had been against getting any xmas stuff, after we put it away, he agreed it had been a good idea.

I also bought and already posted the cards.......am feeling quite smug ;-)

Thanks Dea

There has been lot's of tears, JB was sobbing uncontrollably last night. Think it was the shock

He's calmer today and we've had news that the funeral is on Dec 18th, not sure if it's going to be here or Birmingham
