The good news is that my bp seems to be coming down

however

the doc increased the dosage of the "new" drug .......... which MAY interact with Simvastatin, the one I take for cholesterol ........... so I have to watch out for certain "things"

could be fun!!

I'm just not safe in the kitchen anytime. Fact.

Have burn scars up my arm which resemble sergeants' stripes.

Once knocked the chip pan off the cooker. (haven't had one since)

Fallen out of the back door - twice

....and that's not to mention the cooking!!!

Hope you can get your bp sorted out soon Sylvs.

Was ironing away this morning when it suddenly seemed to go very hot and stop working. Great! Mount Everest still to climb too....... :-(

Have got a little spare iron but it's not up to much so had to go and get another. Got a good one at half price..... :-D

Mount Everest has now been demolished apart from my linen skirts which I iron as and when. :-D :-D :-D

I was hoping for a reasonably quiet week.......but it's not working out like that...

Tomorrow is okay - doing shopping for my friend and then lunch with another friend.

Wednesday, it seems I have been nominated to take both grandchildren into town so that they can get some clothes for their holidays.......and, fit grandson's dentist appointment in with it!!! Son is coming for tea too................:-S

Thursday - a funeral followed by taking my friend her shopping and taking her out if the weather is okay.

I may need a lie down by Friday... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Oooh, Ive not that icing in a can. What make is it Linds?

Had a little sleep for an hour and dreamed; Dad and Josie were in hospital and the doc was telling me to get Josie to eat or she could die.

In my dream, I was thinking she is already dead, but I didn't want to upset the doc my telling her.....how odd!

Last night when I went out the bin, I found a baby wood pigeon, big bugger but defo a baby, he had his birth fluff and couldn't fly

He was walking towards the road, so I picked him up and took him to our back garden. It's safer there and it is risen from the ground so I hope his mom and dad will see him

Gracie, it's quite cool here today 20c and we had some rain overnight

He's just popped out from the shrubs and had a little squeak...poor thing

Linda,
Well yes he was born in Scotland but his Da was Irish.
His wife was the real Scotswoman born from a long Scots ancestry through both her parents.

On t'other side my Dad's mother was a Turnbull. My dad said when she and her sister got together they would talk in Scottish dialect and the kids wouldn't know half of what they were talking about.
