Hi all,
Thanks for your comments, the more I thought about Jonesy was saying the more akin it seemed to what happened to me. She did get my address details and i hers, but not a phone number and she would not know who my insurer was...and then she took off, which she could be charged with leaving the scene of an accident without full disclosure (of course at the time standing in the pouring rain I went completely blank and could not think what to do!)
Of course I don't know who the bloke was and the guy who did come and tow the car from my house said that he would not be a towie as they have to advise you of several things, check to ensure the car is safe before moving..he did say it was likely he would have been watching and would take the car ...get it fixed and sell it on :-(
Had a few moments on the way to work even though OH was driving I kept holding my breath every time we stopped at a light or the traffic slowed down in case we could not stop .
Quiet weekend for me resulted....cleaned out daughters wardrobe while she visited her grandparents (boy she collects a lot of stuff!) and just general housework.
Hope everyone is well for a Monday morning (Monday here anyway!)

Good morning all :-)
Thanks for the lovely breakfast Cynths - I will have some of everything please with extra bacon <3 <3
Cynths - I DO like my meat but I could never eat a rare steak - mine has to be cooked all the way through !!
I know what you mean about not fancying the goats cheese thing but when I worked over in Spain, I was there such a lot that people would cook me 'special meals' and when you have been working in intense heat all day this sort of meal is wonderful, eaten outside and accompanied by a large glass of lovely chilled Cava................. just 'perfect' ;-) :-D :-D
I have many things nowadays which have been cooked for me in the past over there which I wouldn't have thought of trying before.

Good morning all..........you sleepyheads!! :-D
Rise and shine! We have a brand new day ahead of us!
Okay, 'cos I will be getting ready to go you-know-where, a quick breakfast for you all.
Cereals Porridge
Bacon - crispy for Dea
Tomatoes - grown in this country
Eggs - any which way for Gins
Sausages - from my lovely butcher
Mushrooms - fresh from the field
Hash browns/fried bread for that crunchiness
Toast a'plenty
Croissants
Crumpets
Tea, coffee, fruit juices.
Enjoy!
Takes apron off.
I CAN eat fairly rare steak Gins........... :-D :-D :-D
Dea, I have never, ever, fancied that sort of thing.........just doesn't appeal I'm afraid. :-(
Sylvs - mind you don't trip over that long ticket of yours.......... :-0
I agree about the 'non-lactose' diet. Both daughter and OH are allergic to cheese, which is very limiting at times. It's really frustrating, when eating out, to find that everything either has cheese IN it or ON it!
We occasionally buy a 'choose your own topping' pizza from Asda and I have to specify NO cheese on it please. It isn't the same for them, but it makes them feel as though they are, at least, having a pizza.
Daughter can't eat chocolate either - except for a couple of squares of the dark type. It can be hard to find a cake or biscuit which HASN'T got chocolate on in some places. She even has to ask before ordering carrot cakes as the 'frosting' may contain cream cheese. :-(
Must stop nattering ~~~~

we went for morning coffee, then to the Rail Station, and got our tickets printed out.
I love the long tickets you get in this country ..................... one for each train you're taking.
so ................ 2 trains, plus the "paid" ticket = 3 tickets. Total length of ticket is about 18"
Also got my "non lactose food" sorted out for the first train ............... sandwiches only on there, and every one on the "sample menu" had some sort of cheese on them!

Yuk. Yak. Yuk. Goats cheese and leaves.
Assorted meat chow mein in blackbean sauce for me :-D
Wandered round town with daughter today. Absolutely packed with odd items of 'entertainment' taking place. Definitely ear bashing stuff....... :-0
Have booked the Rug Doctor online ready for Monday. Am cleaning daughter's carpets as well as my own. She should be out so that will help... :-D
