Jonesey, I thought of you this morning as we went on our morning stroll. The only redeeming feature of impending autumn, is the changing of the colours. End of. ;-)

Lovely stroll by the canal but there were cyclists all over the place - it was like the Cyclists M6 :-S


I seem to have been ironing for England today......I don't mind but it was SO hot - phew!!

Well well.....

My boy is coming back here to live, while in his second year at uni. He and his girlfriend are parting ways :-(

He will be getting a new place with one his mates......who knows when!

He phoned me earlier to say, he'll be here either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. He has his key, so no worries

'Mom, if could please make a shepherd's pie, that would be soooo nice'

I have put the porridge on and bacon and sausages are sizzling away nicely.

As promised - poached eggs on crumpets are all ready for Ginns.....

Mushrooms and tomatoes are under the grill.

Toast is made and there are fresh rolls, croissants and danish pastries.

Hello everyone yes Dea we are home :-(

Got home just after 9pm then had to have something to eat.

Have got over 400 emails so just checking in will catch up with what's been happening at some point over the next couple of days :-)

Apartment was fab pool was warm food good - huge portions - complex was like a village and spotless. We had a pool and sea view. :-D

Chilled for the first few days then did a trip on the Thursday and went into resort centre the next couple of nights.

It was too hot to do anything other than sunbathe and swim between high 30's to low 40's all week.

Will post later and get some pics on dark side when I get time.

Hospital visiting tomorrow and granddaughters on Wednesday. talk about back to reality ;-)

I was out all morning - as you know and then, this afternoon, I watched a dvd which was made 12 years ago, of a pageant which was performed in our cathedral. I had written it and was one of the narrators. It was interesting to see faces of people from back then - especially those who have since died. Bitter/sweet I suppose. :-)


Took daughter home and then we had our visitor........it's all go...... :-S


Dea, I get a bit confuddled with the upside downness of this page.....I tend to just click on the post date nowadays because it's quicker.... :-D

OOOhh - I got confused there because I can only view thi thread upside down but \i forgot !!!

I thought Cynths was arriving with my breakfast but I was obviously quite wrong !
