Am going for a browse round now ~~~~~~

Maureen - It WAS me with the handbag but actually it is not that large - it just looks big because I am relatively small !!

The others will confirm that !! ;-) :-D :-D

I always denied 'absconding' with that laptop at the WDYTYA roadshow - I would have liked to have one but someone else beat me to it !!
;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Toots - It was lovely to meet you too !! AND all the others ! :-D :-D

It was such a shame that hubby didn't arrive to meet you all before you all left - I was SO looking forward to that but apparently the waiter in the coffe shop gave me the wrong post code and it took him to the centre of Liverpool by Liverpool Central Station and there are traffic lights about every 40 yards in the centre and hundreds of buses so it took him ages to get around - he eventually keyed in Albert Docks and parked there and came to find me on foot, then went back to bring the car to pick me up by which time I was quite frozen through :-( :-(

BUT, it was worth it as I had such a wonderful time meeting you all <3 <3 <3

I keep loooking at the photo of us all that Ray took for me on my camera - I feel like I have been away on a lovely holiday and have been smiling all day !!

Everyone will be home soon - hope they all feel the same !

I am so glad that you managed to get to Liverpool, and that you have had a good time.

We have all known each other for several years, albeit only through the internet.

You certainly all look happy on the photos on the other side Dea....so glad you had a good time..... <3

My gt.grandson was 5 today so my daughter and I went up with his birthday card and had a little mooch around the local shops before coming home again.

Tomorrow is going to be very difficult you-know-where and I am not looking forward to it at all. :-(

Well, I'm back home - all in one piece !!!

It was SO good to meet up with everyone - they are ALL lovely !!!

We all had lunch in the Cavern pub and then took a taxi down to the docks and spent an hour at the Coffee shop chattering and giggling as if we had known each other for ever :-D :-D

It was lovely !

Then Toots went off to visit her mother and I got picked up by hubby and the others went off on the Ferry across the Mersey !!

Not sure what they are doing tonight but they were all having a lovely time.

I am shattered now but SO happy that I got there to join them, even if only for a little while :-D :-D :-D

Hope that even more of us can make it next time.

Fans,

I am overwhelmed at your generosity by sending me a link to a YouTube video.

I am however a little perplexed about why you thought that the video's subject matter, "Big Spender" or its cast of scantily clad young ladies provocatively deporting themselves could possibly relate to me.

Whilst I will admit that in years gone by a well turned ankle or a shapely female figure would have been of considerable interest to my goodself, these days due to high blood pressure and low bank balance I feel it wisest to avoid such temptations of the flesh. :-(

On the subject of "Big Spender" I am renowned for not being one of those. Indeed I am hailed as being the very model of penuriousness. In the interest of economy and the salvation of the environment I exhort those around me not to waste my money and the planets precious limited resources by wanton waste and excess. I do this by putting notices in strategic places about the place advocating thought, consideration and actions.

Signs such as:

"Switch off when leaving the room", above each light switch.

"Is your journey really necessary?", on the garage door.

"Save water, bathe with a friend", in the bathroom.

And above the loo roll holder, "Please use both sides" :-D
