Good morning everyone :-D
I'll have toast today please Sylvs.....brown I think. Just in a brown toast mood!!
Glad you are feeling better. You seem to be having a mixed bunch of weather lately. :-S :-S
Mind you, I think we are in for some sunshine for the next two days and then back to normal autumnal type chill. Who knows? Anyway, we just have to take whatever comes don't we? :-D
Was cream crackered last night after that early start........and was woken this morning by what I thought was thunder :-0
Nope. It was the window cleaner hurling his ladders against the window sills :-|
Going to take some stuff to the charity shop this morning and then iron, iron, iron and iron.............happy days... :-D :-D
But first, a nosey around......~~~

Cyn
the day seems to have gone well for you, albeit very emotional and tiring.
What a fantastic choice of music to say goodbye to your vicar :-D

So pleased to hear that Gins is having a good time, and getting the 5* treatment!
Looking forward to the tales :-D
I'm feeling better ........ but it is still a matter of eating small and often ............. every 2 hours.
We were out and about this morning ....................... coffee, followed by taking one of the pictures that we got from our friend the other week into the framers. The backing paper had got ripped, and then we saw the frame itself was damaged.
Then to the men's shop to pick up the 4 pairs of trousers that OH bought last weekend, and then left to be hemmed to length. He only went for 2, possibly 3, new pairs, but they were having a sale ............ buy 1 pair and get 1 pair free. So he decided that he might as well get 2 + 2!
Finally, over to the Mall on another errand ......... then realised it was getting to 1:30, and we were both hungry, so we went into the Food Fair.

Evenin' all..... :-D
I see Gins is having a 5* time......good for her....Enjoy it!
A very good but a long and tiring day. zzzzz
The service went really well this morning. Very quiet and formal but then, as we left the church with the casket of ashes, the organist had been asked to play.......
...........................................The Laurel and Hardy theme tune. It was absolutely brilliant and the best way to remember our very humorous vicar. :-D
After that, it was getting a buffet ready for those who went to the cathedral this afternoon. Came home for a while then when back to help again. They didn't get back until about 6.15pm......and I have only just got back from dropping daughter off after having a takeaway..........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Tomorrow is another day... :-D
