Gins

Yes I was but he sent me a text to say he would call me tonight as he was still at his Nans (my Dads sis) and didn't know when he would get home.

He was meant to call at 7.30pm tonight and sent me another text to say he was still at work and would call me when he got home :-(

He did eventually call just after 8.30pm and we were on the phone for an hour.

Now my table is covered in paperwork!
On the plus side I have discovered that I am 2 generations further back than I thought I was :-D

Now I gave him names and dates but haven't given him copies of the certificates as I don't have time to scan them all>

I will do later if he wants but he has been handed both lines of his Nans parents .

Am I being mean?

Cynthia I have no ironing to do got it done at the weekend :-D :-D

Hello everyone!

Had a busy weekend and didn't realise I hadn't been on here since Friday :-(

Dea Yes you are correct it was so lovely to meet up and its nice to match faces to names also great that everyone wants to do it again :-D

I agree we had a great time and a lot of laughs :-D

The weather here has been nice for the past couple of days even got washing
out :-D

I have to go and look out my FT paperwork as one of my cousins sons is phoning me tonight he is doing the tree for his Mum's 50th birthday in November.

I told him he has left it a bit late but he only plans to go back to the GG then add to it later.

I think I may have got the teeth thing a bit wrong! What I meant was, my kids still had lots of baby teeth until their teens but they had lost a few teeth as children

The only reason I remember is because of the braces, and the dentist said they couldn't fit them until all their first teeth were out

Well, what a buddy day at work, it was 'one of those'!

Anyhow, Im chillin, came back and watched Kojak

:-D

What a wonderful array of goodies Persie......thank you so much. I'm really stuck for choice but would love to have the Northumberland breakfast.....after my porridge of course. :-D

As for that dark chocolate truffle tart with popcorn ice cream............. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

I will hoover up for you again 'cos I know the mess that Dea can make when she gets her hands on bacon butties!!!

As for the teeth thing!!! :-S Baby teeth into their teens........?? :-S That's a new one on me too.....mind you, at least it stopped the Tooth Fairy popping in.

I remember being at the local chip shop one evening with one of my grandchildren and, whilst we were in the queue, she wiggled a tooth right out - there and then. One of the customers gave her 50p!!! :-D

Today I am ironing the himalayas.....so may be delayed somewhat!!!

I have an awful studio photograph of me at six with me smiling a ruddy great toothless grin.

I have never heard of anyone keeping their baby teeth till they were in their teens.

My children didn't lose a first tooth until they were 15/17, this meant they couldn't have a brace fitted at the normal time and when they lost all their first teeth, they didn't want to be seen with a brace, not at 18/21ish !

They've got good teeth though, not perfect but good

I just typed this all out and have lorst it so I will do it all over again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a phone call this mornig fron my grand-daughter who said she had some 'very exciting news' !!!

Grandson had lost his first tooth !!

I thought this happened about 6 - 7 years old and he is only just 5.

However, he could not find it despite searching for several hours under the matress etc.,

'She' thinks he must have swallowed it! ??

I declined to explain to her how he could get it back !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D

I did not like to remind her that she did the same with her first one when she was over here and I told her that the 'fairy' caught it on the way down and whisked it away leaving her a lovely £1 coin wrapped in silver foil. ;-) :-D :-D :-D

Persie,

Thank you for the cinnamon swirls, very tasty.

Gins,

I doubt that you would enjoy living in the country where petrol costs 1p per ltr. By the way, what has happened to the Blades of late?
