Thank you for breakfast Persie - I think I will try the Trio of Welsh Tasters please...and I've no idea what Teisen Lap is - unless it's a loaf of some sort - seeing as Dea is going to have a slice.... :-S
It looks as though it's nice enough to hang the washing out this morning - must make the most of any good weather as i don't want to use the dryer unless I absolutely have to!!!

Fruit: A selection of fresh fruit salad
Full Welsh breakfast Free range eggs, fresh local Welsh sausage, hash brown, baked beans, mushrooms, fresh grilled tomato and Welsh bacon. Eggs can be fried, scrambled, poached or boiled
Princess Nest Creamy scrambled egg with fresh smoked salmon on a toasted muffin
Trio of Welsh tasters: Glamorgan sausage, cockles bacon and laver bread,Welsh Rarebit with smoked bacon.
Omelette Sausage, bacon & mushroom omelette – vegetarian omelette also available
Croissants: Freshly baked buttery croissants
Emlyn's Pies: Steak and Ale, Chicken leek and Mushroom or cottage pie.. Ratatouille pancake with cheese sauce and spring greens and minted new potatoes.
Vegetable and noodle stir fry with hoi sin sauce.. and potatoes.

Evening all!!
Have had quite a nice today really.....too much sitting down though I guess.... :-D
Finishing off the final details for our wedding fair - out to lunch - talking to and comforting our friend's daughter :-( and generally internetting!!
Ooooo Gins...I've just remembered! Bought myself a lollipop today...must go and find it!! :-D

Yes... Dea...
I had lunch out today with my cousin and some of her family and friends.. it was actually a celebration of her birthday but she invited us cause it is mine as well. She is 11 years older than me.. so I was the best 11th birthday present she could meet.

French Toast 1) served straight up with syrup 2) three egg dipped slices rolled in cinnamon, brown sugar and oats and griddled to perfection. 3) 2 egg dipped croissants topped with berries, icing sugar and whipped cream.
The porridge is keeping warm in the bain-marie, there is honey or syrup to drizzle on it along with cream or milk.
Garden Vegetable Frittata: Spinach, Tomato, Asparagus, Red Peppers, Egg Whites, Parmesan Cheese
Fish and chips with either tartare sauce, aioli or vinegar.. there is mesclun salad as well.
Gamon bacon, lamb sausages, steak patties, venison patties.
Grilled mushrooms, zucchini and tomatoes with or without cheese on top.
Eggs .. poached, scrambled or fried.. also boiled with soldiers.
Toasted sourdough...
Savoury brioche with spinach and feta or pumpkin and ricotta.
Macaroni cheese, baked beans.
Muffins: coffee and walnut, blueberries and creamcheese, lemon curd.
And a birthday cake with lots of fruit and candied peel in it.

He say's he's never seen me so excited with a DVD, above all the gems he's bought me

Arrrrggghhhh!!!!! Persie!! you could have at least checked that Gins had washed the casserole dish before you put the porridge in it.......there are onions floating on the top......... :-S :-D ;-)
(mutters.....can't get the staff these days..........mutter mutter)
Dea, I don't 'do' delicious meals - just bog-standard stuff!!
So we are in for torrential rain apparently - but it's only a bit damp here at the moment :-S
I have a few jobs to do and then off to see my friend. If it is pouring by then, we will be staying in I imagine. :-S

Thank you for the lovely breakfast Persie - I have never tried cheesey mushrooms before but they look gorgeous! so I will have some of those with bacon and sausages and tomatoes <3 <3 <3
Then I will finish off with one of Ginns's lovely spiced muffins !
