Jonesey Report 21 Oct 2013 22:20

Contrary to rumours emanating from the East Midlands I wish to report that all my bits and pieces are intact and in full working order. Nothing has physically dropped off as yet.

Fans,

Good luck for Wednesday. Its not such a bad experience if you approach it in the right frame of mind (GSOH required). Mind you the programme they have on the TV when they are actually doing the procedure gets a bit boring after a while.. ;-)

At the moment Fans, I switch rooms twice a day, walk about a mile a day between rooms, LRC, PC, lunch and breaks

I do indeed have another hand, which is also affected by the bugger but not enough to warrant treatment, apparently

So there :-P

FannyByGaslight Report 21 Oct 2013 18:11

A few days off to rest your wrist Ginny??
Carrying heavy course notes and laptops about??
Do you not have another hand?
Or a large tote bag to carry them in?

I bet lots of people wish they could carry the things in the first place to be able to take the few days off to rest...

But I am sure you will benefit from the few days off anyway..

I wouldnt mind a "piece"of Mr J but he turned me down..:)

Cyn,

You said the other day that this growing old lark is not hilarious. Too bloody true it isn't, it can be a right pain in the proverbial.

Your OH seems to be given a right old run about with his current eye problem. His own doctor>>>Manchester Hospital>>>>Local infirmary>>>>Liverpool Hospital. At least he is receiving prompt attention and hopefully it will all be resolved quickly. Give him my best wishes. He has enough to put up with you let alone any more problems. ;-)

You asked earlier how I was doing. Without going into any great detail let us just say that I am still alive and kicking but not kicking as hard or as often as I used to do. Thanks for asking by the way. <3

Hope you go OK tomorrow

So much for a couple of days off, been researching Robert Rosenthal all buddy day :-|

Hope all goes well tomorrow <3

Phoned the local infirmary for an appointment for OH re his eye problem. Told to go as soon as we could. :-0

Spent four hours sitting around/seeing various people/eyedrops/canula in arm/blood pressure taken/dye injected into canula - it seemed to go on forever.

Outcome is.......we have to go to Liverpool Eye hospital tomorrow to get the blood cleared at the back of the eye. Apparently, because it is quite 'fresh' , they will be able to do it there - as a day case.

Can't say we lead a boring life can you? :-D

Gee

Gee Report 21 Oct 2013 09:28

Mornin all~~~~

I'm having a couple of days off, I need to rest my wrist and carrying heavy course notes and laptops around college is not a good idea

I will chill out and undertake some research for a new Diploma course starting later this week

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 21 Oct 2013 09:06

Good morning all and thank you for breakfast Dea. I will have the porridge please but then, seeing as I have spotted the fried bread......I may succumb to temptation....norty norty!!

My word, it's raining here.......I think our exercise today will be undercover in town when I head for the opticians. Not much point in going out and getting soaking wet methinks.

Of course, I will come home and happily scale the Mount Everest of ironing which has built up. I've got a new thriller to listen to too......yipeee!!!

Yes Gins, I know you think I lead a sad life....... ;-)

It was nice to see Toots and Jonesey pass through the other day. How are you Jonesey my friend? Hope you are behaving yourself. Well, I live in hope of it anyway! :-D

Quick browse and I'm off.....I overslept by 15 minutes.....oh, the shame!! :-D :-D
