	Dea ........... the consult on the 18th isn't at the hospital. It's in his office ................... in the same building where my then-GP had his office back in the 1970s! I think he will do the "procedure" then .................. he does OH's in the office, whether it is the scraping of 3 weeks ago, freezing the thingys with liquid nitrogen, or small "excisions". The appointment is also mid-afternoon! But, yes ........... there are some nice restaurants in the area!

	I have an appointment with the dermatologist on December 18 ....... the same one that OH sees for his skin problem.

	Good morning everyone.... :-D Thank you for breakfast Sylvs......the full Canadian sounds too good to miss. Glad your skin problem is going to be sorted soon for you. Honestly, if it's not one thing, it's another isn't it? Don'tya just love getting older? :-S Another busy day today - hopefully, next week may be quieter but....I have my doubts. We are due back at the hospital in Liverpool on Monday - so we have that to look forward to :-S Will try and pop back later......be good.....~~~

	hi xx quite a neglected little thread today (Thursday) :-( had my flu shot this afternoon at the doc's ................. ................... and got the report on the biopsy he did 2 weeks ago. It shows that the "thingy" is a squamous cell carcinoma, so I have to be referred to a dermatologist to have it all removed. They think it will be able to be done in the dermatologist's office. Squamous cell carcinoma is a cancer of the outermost cells of the skin, usually as a result of sun exposure. It is easily treatable, as long as it is not ignored and left for years. I've asked to be referred to the same dermatologist that OH goes to for treatment of his basal cell cancers .............. OH likes him a lot. He's a Welshman! It's the second squamous one I've had. The last one was smaller (and looked different!), and was completely removed by the doctor so I didn't have to go to a dermatologist, just watch my skin for other "possibles".
