Thought I better check in as didn't make it here yesterday :-(

Yesterday we did the weekly food shop but not before we went to see DIL as she thought she had bought the same shirt for our son as we did. Turns out she didn't.

Then O wanted to come with us and F started too. Now much as I love them both there was no way I was taking both of them and F was tired and hungry.

When we took O home F wouldn't talk to us

Today we took O to the play (only 2 people in it and aimed at 3 - 7 year olds. we picked O up from nursery at 11.30 went for lunch then to the play.

Took her home then went to pick up some Christmas stuff that we had put aside.

Then SIL she wanted to drop presents off and we ended up meeting at the shopping mall and having a pizza. Saved me cooking :-D

Finally got home at 7pm. I am shattered and now have to do the Christmas cards.

Glad OH is O.K. Cynths.

They wouldn't be able to do that to me - I remember many years ago that I had to have some sort of eye examinatiion which entailed me sitting in front of this big machine and putting my on a rest and there was a metal band in front of me to press my forehead onto. Then something came towards my eye and had to actually touch it to do the examination.

Unfortunately, every time this thing came towards my eye, my eye lid went into spasm and closed tight. It would not open unless I opened it manually with my fingers and held it there.

I am sure that the same thing would happen if I was confronted with a needle coming at me.

Anyway - grand-daughter is doing O.K. at the moment, grandson is feeling more poorly though not too bad. Just hope it all settles down before Christmas.

Everything went okay - if a little delayed - at the eye hospital today. His eye is a bit sore but I think that is perfectly understandable to be honest....bless him.

Trouble was, I had to cope with the rush hour going out of Liverpool........I managed fine though :-D

Hope your granddaughter is okay Dea. My lot have got a sickness bug apparently. They know to stay well away!!

Just watching the programme on Susan Boyle on ITV. It's very interesting to me, especially as she has recently been diagnosed with Asperger's.

So, where is Jonesey with his menu then???? :-S

Gee

Gee Report 12 Dec 2013 19:01

Aw...she should be fine. Just check her temperature

Picked the grandchildren up from school today - they both have 'slap cheek' (It's a virus thingy) which has been going around the school.

I asked grand-daughter if anyone else in her class has it and she said that nearly all of them have :-(

I said it must be very strange for her teacher to look at them all - all with bright rosy red cheeks. She informed me that her teacher has got it as well but that she went home because she was embarrased (none of the other teachers have it) ;-) :-D :-D

Just hope she doesn't give it to me :-0

I thought you said, setting off for the poo? Do you go swimming then?

Hope the eye needle went well......sounds awful, I would be doing the above if it was me

Good morning everyone....and thank you for the breakfasts.... :-D

I'm only organised to a degree I think. I tend to do 'Christmassy' things because, as a mother, I am expected to. I could happily hide under the duvet until 6th January. The decorations are still in the garage - and I would be happy for them to stay there.

I'm certainly a bah humbug person in December...... :-D :-D

Just going to get tidied up before setting off for the 'pool!!! Back later. ~~~

Dea Report 12 Dec 2013 08:10

Good morning all :-)

Thanks for breakfast Ginns - one LARGE bacon buttie is now ready for me to eat ;-) :-D :-D...................... delicious !!! <3

I am not organised for Christmas yet Ginns although I did do a lot of shopping on-line yesterday and got quite a lot of it done. I did manage to treat myself too and bought a second freezer for in the garage. It will be delivered tomorrow and I can then start all my Christmas baking - the one in my kitchen is always so full that I struggle to fit everything in, expecially at this time of the year ;-) :-D

Ooohh Cynths - that 'needle in the eye job for OH' sounds scarey - I hope all goes well. <3

It looks like Jonesey is still working on his Christmas menu - he must be 'feeding the 5,000' this year :-D

Hope everyone has a good day,

See you all later,

Dea Xxx
