It's kinda spooky round here this morning.........but at least breakfast is ready - thank you Sylvs....much appreciated as usual.


Those winds sound a bit violent Sylvs.....hope it all calms down soon for your daughter and family. Mind you, I think I would rather have a windy day than a day containing that dreaded word s**w. :-(


Taking grandson to dentist later and then his dad will come for tea and pick him up. I can then catch up on any family gossip. :-D

we had a Pacific storm come through yesterday

meanwhile, daughter had an Atlantic gale from the south-east blow through where she lives over Saturday night ........ the house was shaking under the gusts of wind, and her bbq was blown off the patio area!

Plus, they got the neighbour's trellis draped over the hedge ............... the trellis was made of 4" x 4" lengths of wood, so that was some gale!


it's all quiet and peaceful here today, and I hope also over there!

Yep. We were right. OH has gained 4lbs. The excuse is, that it was Christmas and we had a lot of sweets in the house!!!!




Lots of lovely ironing done.......... and then a visit from our 'late' visitor's daughter. :-D

Just got home from work to find my new debit card has arrived, its contactless

Now in the info that came with it states:

"But also secure - Contactless is safe and secure as your card always stays in your possession"

My question is, is it impossible to lose or have it stolen!

What a load of old tosh :-|

I really didn't find it any trouble entering my pin!

Popped in to catch up and had to rescue Fred he was about to drop off the page :-D
