Gins we were having the pre-theatre menu! Didn't go to the theatre.

The pre-theatre and the al la carte are almost the same just different in price.

We had a lovely meal and a nice time.

Then when we were paying I went into my handbag to get the vouchers and guess what?

I had picked up the wrong vouchers they were for another restaurant (a birthday present)

Now we will have to go again to use the vouchers :-D

OH is convinced I did it on purpose ;-)

Since our last visit they have increased the table time to 2 hours.We were actually there for about two and a quarter hours.

You woz tooooo slow Gins. I had too dash to work and just got back. Same tomorrow so Sunday morning a definite booking. :-D

What are you going to see at the theatre, you may have said but Ive slept since then!

Good day at work but I have worked my students like horses, it was nice to see them working so hard

Then I was stuck in a meeting the rest of the afternoon.......oh joy

I had a lovely lie in this morning.

No I am not just up had a lazy morning.

Just got to tidy up and then tonight we are going out for dinner to one of our favourite restaurants.

No 1 son and partner gave us vouchers at Christmas.

We have decided to go for the pre-theatre and are taking them with us as a treat cos they gave us too much and it makes sense to use all the vouchers rather than have a few left. :-D

The menu is Scottish. They don't have a huge choice but it is always delicious.

It is so popular that they limit each table to 90 minutes.

Thank you for that breakfast Gins - it was very thoughtful of you......and I hope Henry returns unscathed!


I got rid of an old vacuum yesterday. We had kept it in the garage for emergencies but it was falling apart so, off it went.


Don't know if it's raining or not here - it just looks very grey outside.

I'll pack some of that pie and take it with me to work, Im scooting round campuses today so wont get chance to sit and have lunch

The Memorial is on Friday, we are going up there tomorrow and returning on Saturday.
