Had a lovely walk this morning.....almost felt as though spring was on it's way. :-D

Then had an enjoyable afternoon ironing and catching up with my thriller.

Got a phone call reminding me that I am due for a massage tomorrow....yipee...I had forgotten when it was!!

Nipped up to church this evening and ended up chatting to a couple of friends for ages. :-D

Now it is time for bed - night all......~~~

Hi everyone,

No 2 son phoned and asked if OH wanted to go a walk in the park with him and the girls. He did.

I got about 3 hours peace to catch up on my programmes :-)

I am now psyching myself up for the horrible prep for my CT Colonography on Wednesday :-(

Somehow I think I will be staying home tomorrow ;-)

Well, as Det suggested I went and googled for a ring size reducer and there were many available so I will get them sorted.

However, the strangest thing came up in the list of them on Amazon and I had to take a look because of the price !!!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ability-Superstore-Padded-Toilet-Reducer/dp/B008PQ68B6/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1390208917&sr=8-16&keywords=ring+size+reducers

It SURELY must be a typo on the price as they only have 1 left in stock but are expecting more in ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

It's not even diamond encrusted ! :-S

Good morning all and thank you for the croissants and coffee.... :-D

Arrrggghhhhhh crumbs all down me front now........I may have to borrow 'Henry' to clear up the mess! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Seems lighter this morning and, in fact, I have already hung some washing out. Here's hoping!

Quick browse and then a tidy round.

Awww, that's lovely Ginns.........

Isn't it strange how we get so sentimental about our rings ? It just goes to show that it's not what they are 'worth' that matters but what they 'mean' to us ..... ;-)

Thanks for the cuppa Ginns, I have brought some croissants and danish pastries to go with it . <3

Speaking of rings..........When my sister was dying, I gave her one of my rings to wear so that I would be with her even when I was not

She wore it all the time and died with it on her wedding finger. I now wear it on my little finger all the time.........so she is always with me

Mornin All~~~~~~~~~

Sounds like you need to fatter those fingers up Dea.... :-D

Good ideas from DET ....hope you find one that is right for you. I have my mum's wedding ring on my little finger - I put it on just after she had died and have kept it there. It is tiny and worn very thin but the sentiment is worth so much more.

Didn't get a headache this morning despite you-know- where being very, very busy. Lots of school children in today but they were, on the whole, very well behaved.

Didn't sit down till about 3pm so just pootled around on the puter ;-)

Dea - google 'ring size reducer' for loads of results. I think I've seen them in the Betterware or similar catalogue.

Alternatively, take yourself and the rings to a decent jeweller as they can alter them for you. Strange - most of us more mature ladies have to have the size increased :-0

Bugg##r !

I have tried to send this message many times now but it wouldn't go !!

I said I will have to visit H Samuels tomorrow to see if they still sold those little clippy things that sit on the inside of your ring to make it fit ???

If not, I still have the other 'ring' which is worth about £5,000 but is far too big for me now and will drop off any minute.

Can anyone advise please

Dea Xxx

P.S. - the really cheap one which is my wedding ring is far more precious !!
