I couldn't get on to this stupid site yesterday :-S

Gins hope you both feel better soon <3 My OH is at the football.

We are going out for dinner tonight to a new Italian that my Son and DIL gave me vouchers for as part of my birthday presents last year.

The hospital patient is much the same but has ate a little and has finally had a sleep. Still waiting on the results of the lumbar puncture.

Oh Dear, I didn't realise Cynthia was already doing breakfast when I did mine but never mind, at least we didn't duplicate the 'offerings'. - Only the bacon but then you can never have too much bacon ;-) :-D :-D

Thank you Cynths <3

Breakfasts are like buses, you wait ages for one and then two turn up together.

Cyn, I smoke a lot less now than I used to. I am currently down to smoking only 5 or 6 fags a day This is reflected in the way that the share price of the British American Tobacco company has fallen sharply over recent weeks.

Looks as though I'm the one putting the kettle on this morning....what with Gins busy in her role play and Dea being flat out listening to Miss Marple. ;-)

Wakey wakey..........cereal, bacon barm cakes, scrambled egg on toast, eggy bread and warm croissants, all on offer.

Jonesey!! Put that cigarette down and eat something 'proper'. Dear oh dear! ;-)

Never sure about Saturdays but just take what comes.........off for a browse.

Gin,

Aren't you a bit old for playing Doctors and Nurses. ;-)

I bet JB recovers sufficiently to watch the Six Nations rugby later on. Make sure that the cushions on the sofa he lies on are well plumped up and that he has a copious supply of drinks and snacks at his elbow throughout.

I don't sleep with the window open, but I don't have the heat on ........ actually, I opened the window earlier and I think I may have forgotten to close it...oooops!
I'd better nip up and close it before himself says it's gone cold...... :-D

Yes Dea, that was the word I wanted...but it was too early for my brain to work it out....

Did housework, went to town, had lunch, took friend out, cooked tea, welcomed visitor. Nearly bedtime. Night night....

Linda

Linda Report 6 Feb 2014 21:18

I cannot open the window too noisy but I have a fan on even in winter and no I don't find it too noisy :-)

Had the girls today took them for a McDonalds to try and get O to eat bought one child's meal for them to share (in case O wasn't eating) We had to buy another portion of nuggets :-)

She was funny when she was eating the chips she found a long one and then she asked me to eat it like Lady and the Tramp eat the spaghetti :-D

She was full of the giggles doing it what a difference a couple of days can make.

OH is out No 1 son is out and No3 son and partner are at the hospital - her brother is ill had a CT scan which showed inflammation on the brain.

Results of his lumber puncture are not back yet but they have been told his condition is serious and may be life threatening :-(

What a week.

Gee

Gee Report 6 Feb 2014 15:54

Dea

I always sleep with the window open even in the deepest of winter

I wake up refreshed

However, due to the state of the windows, I don't need to open them!

Dea

Dea Report 6 Feb 2014 09:29

Ooooh, thank you both - a lovely cuppa and a delicious breakfast to wake me up <3 <3

I think you might mean 'somnambulation' Cynths but I knew exactly what you meant ;-) :-D

I always sleep with the window open, even if only just a 'crack' but last night the wind was howling so loudly and the curtains were blowing madly even with it open that much so I had to close it or hubby would have demanded a divorce, I think :-D :-D

If the window is closed I wake up with a 'stuffy head' and bleary eyes as if I am full of a cold and it takes half the morning for me to 'come round' properly :-( :-(

Is it just me that is strange like this or does anyone else have the same problem ?

Will see you all later when my eyes are properly awake ;-) :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 6 Feb 2014 08:52

Good morning and thank you for putting the kettle on Gins.

I guess our Dea is in a state of somnulisation??? (Is that a word?) I will get some bacon and mushrooms going for her though.

I hope Gins had something to eat before dashing off wherever she was dashing to.

Sylvs, where would we be without toast? I have just had 2 slices myself.....I was a bit peckish..... :-)

Washing is on the line - don't know how long for and I have some dusting to do before I go into town. After lunch, if it isn't raining, it's time to take my friend out for coffee.

Then we have our late lamented visitor's daughter calling round tonight.

Tis all go...... xxx ~~
