As it turns out that was all I got done today. The nursery phoned to say O was pale, shivery and complaining of a sore ear :-(

Grampa went to get her and she was almost asleep by the time they got home.

Temperature up again. gave her calpol and she wanted to go to bed but wanted grampa to go with her.

She slept for over 2 hours.

Mummy took her to Docs and her tonsils are still inflamed (cant see past the wax in her ear to see what it is like)

Gave her more antibiotics but not to start them unless she is the same tomorrow :-(

Said an urgent referral to ENT can take 3 weeks (appointment for 13/5)

DIL asked how often O has been at Dr since Christmas.

10 times!! They are lucky it wasn't me that took her up :-|

We don't have them tomorrow as son has day off :-)

Dea, thank you for that breakfast. You may have noticed that the fried bread is missing....along with some bacon and the tomatoes. I snaffled the lot! ;-)


I saw what happened to your Easter bunnies Linda........shame.......you could be reported to the RSPCA y'know! Never, ever leave an animal in a hot car.....tuts.... ;-)


I got tooooo many eggs when I am trying to be good - but they still taste good :-D

One that we got as a joint gift is fantastic - I've described it on the Christian thread. Too good to eat. :-D


Ah well, off to town soon I think - haircut for himself and a visit to the bank. After that, I will catch up on the ironing from yesterday........bliss..... :-)

Breakfast is cooking - Bacon, eggs (poached and scrambled) , sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread,

Croissants and danish pastries,

Toast, crumpets and freshly baked bread rolls.

I did share,

I have just spent a few hours going through all the certificates that I got from my parents house.

I have now got them all onto my FTM and filed into the binder I bought at the WDYTYA event.

I have original certificates going back to 1897 :-D :-D

Some are in poor condition due to having been folded/rolled up for many years.

They are still readable and more importantly they are the originals :-D

Anyone want to babysit tomorrow? I want to carry on with my paperwork ;-)

I have started to get my FT paperwork into order. Been a couple of years since I even looked at it. You all know why.

It is like starting all over but I have got the bug again :-D

Ive spent most of today doing, VAT, invoicing, course prep and searching for my teaching qualifications (certs) as they are needed at a college

So, Im going to chill now

Very busy but very good day yesterday. I prefer Easter to Christmas so, you could say, I am a happy Easter bunny!!!

When we were in New Orleans last month I ordered a poached egg and was asked if I wanted it hard or soft (darlin'). A hard poached egg??????

What's on TV Linda? Our set gave up the ghost last week. It's been lovely and quiet here. Mike is just waiting for some big "sale $$$" to get a new one and I just know it will be one of those VERY large objects that will involve rearranging furniture and lots of creative cursing. ;-) :-|
