Thanks Dea...................I felt disgusted and really upset

Other students have since come forward and thanked me for withdrawing him

I won't repeat what they said about him!

WELL DONE GINNS !!

I totally agree with you and am glad to see that the college backed you and took the proper action !

Happy Birthday to your better half Linds ;-)

I've had a day from hell. A student who has been going through the 'process' at college was finally withdrawn today

Despite formal warnings previously, (about things from a - z) today he thought that is was ok to call Asian people 'P' and insisted it wasn't racist and repeated the word over and over

I'm a very laid back lecturer but I won't condone that sort of behaviour

That was the last straw, disgusting, he's gone

Good morning and thank you for the bacon butties Dea xx :-D

Having been through the stage of paddling pools, bouncy castles, football nets etc., we now have our little patio back again......with plants growing :-D

Not only did I nearly meet myself coming backwards yesterday, I think I actually overtook myself at some point..... :-0

A quiet day today........................she says hopefully. ;-)

Sounds like my garden Linds........

We have recently bought a swing with two swing seats and a 2-seater glider. - They LOVE it !!!

We also have 2 slides, a small trampoline and a see-was thing and a decent sized paddling pool. They were playing happily on there the other day when grand-daughter looked around her and said " You haven't got any garden left grandad, but you don't use it much anyway"

She is quite correct, most of the lawn is now full ;-) :-D

Just had the girls for about 5 hours so parents could go for a late Anniversary lunch

Toys everywhere :-)

O complained that there was no room on the table for her Barbie's for all my paperwork.

I moved some of it to clear a space for her but it is staying on the table till I am finished organising it :-D

Dea

Dea Report 3 Jun 2014 15:03

Well - thank goodness the rain has held off all day !

It was forecast but the sun is still shining (a little bit) behind the clouds.

Little grandson has been off on his very first school trip today - they have gone to a local farm/animal sanctuary which he knows and loves already because we often take them there so at least he will know his way around.

He will absolutely love it !

Cynthia - I sometimes wonder where we found the time to go to work ;-)

More FT today then I have been asked to do a research group at 5pm!

Other than that a quiet day - hopefully :-)
