JC .......... it's amazing how many Lees there are in the Vancouver phone book .......... I think it runs to about 10 pages, 3 columns to a page

Pauline Jewett was a wonderful lady!

Ha, ask my friend. ;)

I believe Pauline was a bit of a .... er .... drunk.

But yes -- a very good MP. ;)

I think she maybe had a good reason to imbibe

She was also an excellent university President (SFU), before she went into politics.

as for stories of politicians, I have a close friend who worked closely with Kim Campbell on the election trail after her few months as PM. Those stories would make your hair curl!

Said friend was later in charge of the secretarial staff for Brian Mulroney! She had the wonderful experience of giving herself the pink slip ........ after she had laid off everyone else!

Going out to buy more halo polish.

Also going to meeting re local Autism Strategy provision. Too much talk, not enough action by those being paid to implement it.

Meant to say to Patricia - sorry you're not staying........everyone is welcome. They are crackers on here aren't they? :))

Oh. So you're nearly back then. Ah well, All good things come to an end. Fans is in Zummerzet with bezzie.

Mega high winds here too Michael* - actually put the central heating on just now. Brrrrr.

Meeting went much better......I said my piece and I think it helped to focus several issues. I do wonder how much time is wasted within these Social Services meetings.....much talk but little action. Sounds good....means nothing.

Off to make a pie for this evening's meal.

I've been stating my case Gins and standing up for myself and others in a similar position. Soooo much waffle from
the authorities.......soooo much guff spouted.....sooo little achieved.

Off on the school run in a tic. Early finish on Wednesdays so we go for a walkabout usually. However, the weather is a bit chilly.........

It looks as though Clare Voyants has been banished. She has probably been sent to the retired mind readers home. Shame really as she was a friendly old girl, always pointing willing, helpful volunteers towards those who needed help more than most. She left without saying good bye or even asking those nice GR folks to forward a message on her behalf. A sad loss.

Does anyone know her cousin, Minnie D Readers, known affectionally as Min? She was an employee of those well known firms, Norfolk & Hope and Norfolk & Chance.

Well, Jonesey, Mr. Om Nishant stands ready, willing and able to pick up the slack! But only if there is no permanent resident of the forum prepared to take on the job on terms consistent with local labour market conditions, certainly.

And of course Norfok & Hope and Norfolk & Chance will be able to call on their international partner Noh Fook Ng Wei, as represented by moiself, for project oversight.
