Find Ancestors

I didnt do it today or yesterday Dea,I sent HID.

He has to earn his keep somehow,I have enough useless mouths to feed here already with my geriatric mutts...

But it meant I had to do what he does at home.

Never mind,I had a quiet afternoon and did little jobs that needed doing.

Tomorrow we MUST finish the loft floor ready for the Sunday invasion of family for the week..

Edit...And I am already getting stressed at the thought of Mother for a WEEK when she normally only stays 2 or 3 nights once a year.

Well done Fans - you have to make good use of HID's.

Hope you get the loft floor finished, otherwise there will be an awfull lot of people sleeping on the floor downstairs!!

P.S. A WEEK is a very long time - I have to admit, I can't cope with anyone staying for that length of time nowadays!!

On a 'serious' note,

I am looking for someone who can REALLY translate from French.!!

My grand-daughter was given a 'little book' in French and I have tried to trasnslate it from a dictionary but can't quite get it right.

If there is anyone there who can do it for me I would be ETERNALLY gratefull!!!!!

In fact, I would do you SO many look-ups, it would make your head spin !!

It was me.
I wandered off course,fed everyone watched Emmers then I remembered I had said I would do some lookups(last night !) for "The Imperial"one ,did that and forgot about Madam G and then went for a bath and now I am going to try and reply with some sympathy and Tea.

thought I was getting somewhere finding a grandparents marriage and poss birth for mother but told its not correct...maybe because it was 6 years after the mother was born..so I will give up with that one then unless she can come up with a good enough reason why it's wrong
